glo3479 Posted April 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2018 Has anyone done an Atlantic crossing in either Seadream, Windstar, Silverseas, Seabourn or Viking Ocean. We love the smaller ships, but I was wondering how they handle out on the ocean.
wripro Posted April 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2018 All the lines you mention cross the Southern Atlantic which if far calmer and warmer than the Northern Atlantic, the area ocean liners traditionally crossed in the good old days. Therefore it shouldn't be much of a problem, I have done many crossings on Seabourn and Silversea and rarely had a problem. Sure, once in a while you'll encounter a rougher day but that can happen on any cruise.

He is giving daily info on the crossing that is pretty informative. Wish someone on SD would do same. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
