My wife and I (Gold Coast Australians)are sailing on this cruise through Eastern Med leaving Istanbul on October 24 2004.

Are their any other passengers on the same cruise?

We are very excited and looking forward to the Seabourn experience!

My husband & I are from Perth Western Australia and will be taking the Dubai - Istanbul cruise on the 26th April 2005. We will be spending 3 days in Istanbul at the end of our cruise and I will look forward to hearing about your cruise and any tips you have on Istanbul. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time and hope you get posts from other passengers joining you on your cruise.

Happy sailing.

At the end of this year, the Turkish Government intends to introduce a new Turkish Lira= 1 million old Lira.

However, the generally accepted currencies are the $ U.S.,and the Euro.

Sailing into Istanbul is a facinating experience.

The major sights are close to one another, and the people are generally very friendly.

However,be warned the traffic is in a class of it's own!
