Flooding In Puerto Plata (Amber Cove)

Hello my sister leaving this Saturday from Port Canaveral on the Sunshine. She is a little concern cause she saw in the news that Puerto Plata has had a lot of flooding. Her concern is will Amber Cove be rescheduled for another port due to the flooding and also the tropical storm forming towards the caribbean. Does anyone know anything about this. Thanks for all your answers.

We were on Conquest last week and had to miss stopping at Amber Cove due to flooding. :(

You don't want to go to Amber Cove, there are reports of tons of mosquitos.

Why the flooding? Have they had a TS or lots of rain?

Yeah I just saw this today, too :( Looks like all of our ports (except Turks Caicos right now anyway) are due for 60-80% chance of rain! Not sure how this will work out because we are range of 6-10 days out still.

That day ended up being a sea day. Friday which was supposed to be sea day was changed to Nassau....

oh no! We are supposed to go to Amber Cove in December on our princess cruise :( I would really like to see AC since it is new
