Wow, really enjoyed looking at your pictures. We were on the Caribbean last month so it was neat to look at "her" again. You have a great eye for picture composition - great shots! Our island night got rained out and we had to celebrate in Club Fusion instead. It looks like the party was in the aft area in your pictures. Did they have anything by the mid-ship pools that night? Did they have a buffet? We were served hor douvres (sp?) by the waiters only.

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm not a photographer by any stretch. I've used a digital camera at work for a little while, but this was my first time with my own dig. camera on vacation. Sony DSC-92 (5 MPix with 3X zoom, got it when they clearanced it for new model). Took my laptop with me so I could download the memory every day and start fresh. It let me take 5 times more pictures than I ever would have with a film camera. Many shots were really quick "wonder if this would look good" pics. Some even from moving van. Didn't matter if they didn't turn out. Just delete!

Party was in aft of ship. Stage covered aft pool. No streamers this time though. Didn't know of anything going on at mid pools, but didn't look either. There was a "buffet" in Cafe Caribe, but not on deck. Don't think it was much different from other nights though. No hour dourves on deck.

The pool pics with no one in them were on the very first day (early embarkation)and on the very last day, although there were many times when the aft pool was empty. While waiting for our disembarkation color to be called, I walked some of the ship and took a few extra pics. They had completely drained one of the large mid-ship pools so didn't get it.

IMHO, one of the best time to take your own pics is when you first get onboard and explore the ship. Take your camera and shoot away. Usually, that is the only time you cover it from end to end all at one time. You tell yourself, I'll come back and take picture, but I never do...

Thanks for the pictures.

Is is permissable to "save as" some of your shots to screensaver so we can drool as we wait out the next four weeks.

This time we will do just as you say: shoot as many photos as possible on the first day. I'm one of those "we'll do it later" photographers.

You're certainly correct about the pleasure of the shoot-and-delete feature of digital. My spouse and I view and delete unwanted shots each day as we relax on the baclony before dinner.

Thanks again.

Hi there,

Nice pics, but I was wondering if you kept yous 'Princess Patters" and could scan them and e-mail them to me at elliescott1013@prodigy.net. I want to know what nights are best for dinner onthe balcony, Sabatini's, etc...

Thanks in advance,

Scott Walters

We did keep all princess patters but I don't have easy access to a scanner. There is a link to older PPs on my little webpage (link below) that someone else has scanned. Might could photo our pages. Don't know about resolution though. Will give it a try when I have time.
