Which 2 bedroom grand suite on Independence of the Seas?

I am looking to book a 2 bedroom grand suite (formerly Royal Family Suite) on the Independence of the seas for spring break 2019. There are staterooms available on decks 6,8 and 9. Which deck is best? It’s been awhile since I’ve sailed on Indy.

I'd say the higher up the better. We were in 9408 on Freedom last year, and the higher up you go, the better view you have off the back. The superstructure off the back of Freedom and Voyager class ships is not the greatest thing to look at.

I don't think you'll regret it at all. heres a video of 9708 on Liberty. I have read that Indy has the nicer finishes done on the RFS so that it looks more like the rest of the suites in the fleet. Liberty and Freedom somehow ended up with standard cabin finishes.
