Carnival Sunshine question RE Aft Balcony Cabins.. Deck 8 or Deck 6?

Booking an Aft cabin and cannot decide whether to book on Deck 8 or Deck 6. I cannot find a good picture that shows how covered or not covered either deck is. Want to have some sunshine but in case of rain it is nice to sit under cover.

Is it better to be on deck 8 closer to Lido deck for pool? Is it noisy with the Grill/Bar right above on deck 9?

Is the view better on either cabin, e.g. better being closer to the water for the view of the wake.

Also, did anyone experience soot issues (as we have experienced this with prior aft balcony cabins)?

Thanks to all in advance.

I looked at some photos on cruisedeckplans of aft balconies on both deck 6 and deck 8 and it appears both have about half the balcony covered by overhang. As to the soot question, we've been in aft balconies in years past that had that issue but have not read anything here recently that it still occurs.
