Lobster......1st or 2nd formal night? We're only doing one and we don't want to get that wrong!! :D

Last year on Voyager it was the 2nd formal night.

It is usually the second formal night. I would check with the maitre de to be sure.

It's always the last formal evening of any cruise

On Freedom, we are hearing it is being served late in the week on a casual night.

I thought it wasn't on either formal night last year on the voyager. Best bet is to ask your waiter the first night which night is lobster and plan accordingly. Personally, I would do the first formal night since it is also the captains reception in the promenade and everyone puts on their best formal wear that night.

On the navigator lobster night was on a non formal night wednesday

Last week on the Navigator, as the PP stated, it was on a casual night (wednesday night sound right). It was in the Captains Platter, served with garlic shrimp.

Last year one the Voyager it was not on a formal night. It was on the night we were in the Bahamas because they were getting fresh lobsters there.

Your waiter will usually tell you the night before. Though if you ask the first night they should know.

We just got back from a 5-day on Enchantment. Our lobster night was the Thursday (casual) of the cruise.

Glad I didn't just assume it was the 1st formal night...now I know to ask to be sure!!

Seems like on the Legend cruise we took last fall, there was a menu posted outside the dining room each night for what was being served that night. Unfortunatly I missed lobster night with a terrible migraine headache. Our poor cabin steward even stopped my husband in the hall to see how I was feeling and if I could be moved out of the room so he could make up the upper berths for the kids.

Anyways, you can check and see if they display the menu for the day outside the dining room as well.
