Car Rental - Cape Liberty

When I researched this a while ago for our holiday this summer, but doing it the other way (ie dropping off at CL) I couldn't find anywhere close to the cruise port, so had to 'drop' at EWR. I think you are going to have the same problem. However, if you can get to the airport, the Airtrain serves the car rental centre at P1 and P2, which has all the 'big' names. You can get the Airtrain from any of the terminals at EWR and at P4 which serves the hotel shuttle pickups.

Just looking at all options. Any car rental companies at the port? Or just get a ride to EWR and get something there? This may be one way rental to another state.

Enterprise has an office in Bayonne, but it's not open on Sunday. There are also car rentals in Jersey City. But as sddsddean said, Newark Airport is more likely to have the largest pool of cars at rental car locations accessible from the Airtrain.
