AnneFink0 Posted June 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Hi everyone! We're staying at Kidani Village in Walt Disney World the night before our Royal Caribbean cruise and are looking for an economical way of getting two people from Kidani to Port Canaveral. We've cruised with Disney before and took advantage of the Magical Express for $35pp each way. Sadly that isn't an option with Royal Caribbean, so we are looking at other options. Hoping for something in a similar price range. Any suggestions? Thank you so much in advance!
Rhea98 Posted June 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2018 One option, probably better ones coming, is to take ME to MCO then take a pre-arranged shuttle to the port. In Nov., Cortrans dropped us off at the Disney section of the airport after our cruise at Port Canaveral. It was about $20. each, iirc. The year before, we had a different shuttle service that dropped us off on the other side of the airport. You could also rent a car either near WDW or at MCO. I don't know how cheap that would be. From WDW, you would have some tolls, but 528 is a direct route to the port. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
JohninDC Posted June 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Rent a car one way -- all of the car rental offices in PC/Cocoa Beach will shuttle you to the port after you return the car. I would also price out Uber or Lyft.
hrhdhd Posted June 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2018 We've cruised with Disney before and took advantage of the Magical Express for $35pp each way. Just to clarify, Magical Express is a free (or "free") service that runs from the airport to WDW hotels and back. What you had were Disney Cruise Line transfers, at $35/pp each way. You could take ME back to the airport for free (just make up a flight time that would get you to the airport at the right time) and then take the RC shuttle, which probably costs something similar to the DCL one. Or rent a car (you could do that at the MK) or pick a private shuttle.
Rhea98 Posted June 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Good point about the Magical Express. I'd missed that she thought ME was the $35./person DCL shuttle. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
