Carnival Sunshine in early May

We have sailed last May, not much in the way of children as they should still be in school. There were crowds in areas at times, but we found ways to avoid them. We hardly used the buffet on Lido which is one of the areas people complain about. We used Havana area for breakfast (also went to dining room) and lunch and could always find a table. The comedy club is "unique", just get there a little early. As for the loungers, we never had a problem finding them, but we didn't look until late morning or afternoon. We always used to be up early to get our place in the sun, but them had enough by early afternoon. The afternoon time is when most of the early people are leaving and there is still plenty of sun. We are sad to see the Sunshine move to Charleston because the 8 day is very limited and the cost is much higher.

Any Cruise is what you make of it, if you want to have a good time, you will. If we want to find problems, you will.
