Connecting video to stateroom TV on Infinity / M-Class - what worked

I managed to get my stateroom flat Samsung to work with my HDMI connection. Here’s what I did.

1. Turn off the TV.

2. Disconnect the gray phone-style data cable from the back of the TV.

3. Turn on the TV using the front panel buttons.

4. Use one of the dots to the left of power to change inputs.

The room remote won’t work, so you have to use the panel controls.

This worked for me in a Concierge Class room on Infinity last night.

I've found that on many of the TV's we have had they are already unlocked and if you plug you HDMI device into the TV (turned off) and then start your HDMI device it automatically turns on the TV to the HDMI port.
