Best Shore Excursion Ideas

We will be visiting Aruba for the first time on a Thursday in December on our Carnival Horizon cruise. Family of 4, very fit/athletic and like to be active. Kids will be 14/11. Looks like we will be there from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Looking for ideas other than sitting on the beach - something off the beaten path and exciting. Although, if it's a fun beach with stuff to do we would do it! We would like to explore the island and see it all! Looking for ideas!

Read reviews for Aruba Trikes on Trip Advisor. You’ll see them mentioned on Cruise Critic as well, and they usually make the top 3 list of recommendations.

The company doesn’t have a lot of trikes, and those who do their research book early (we booked more than a year in advance), so they sell out quickly. You can reserve 2, 2-person trikes and the kids can ride on the back.

They look like motorcycles but they’re really more like convertible cars, so they’re safe for the kids to ride on. If you can’t drive a stick shift car, make sure to ask for an automatic bike when you reserve.
