campolady Posted November 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2017 We are considering a cruise with Marella in the new year and as someone who has to drink several litres of water a day I was wondering if anyone knows how much they charge on board for water. My husband has to drink 3 litres of water a day. Still water is free by the glass in any restaurant and bar. 3 weeks ago on Discovery 2 a 1.5 litre bottle cost us 1.90 Pounds UK so much cheaper to buy it in port. On every deck of Discovery 2 - and I believe also now on some decks of Discovery - there are drinking water dispensers available 24/7 with lidded carafes in your cabin to fill with the water. The dispensers are currently not available on the other Marella ships.
marylizcat Posted November 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2017 The still water provided at bars and in the restaurants is exactly the same water as comes out of the tap in your bathroom. All perfectly drinkable and a higher quality than bottled water so they say!
Longislandtea Posted November 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2017 I just buy 1 bottle of water and top it up from the tap in the bathroom.
WeeCountyMan Posted November 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 22, 2017 Get your ice bucket filled by the steward in the evening and you'll have lovely cool water to drink or bottle when you get up in the morning.
