No experience with the BW but we've stayed at the Homewood Suites a couple of times and like it. Huge rooms, great breakfast, small pool, nice area and a local strip mall about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel with grocery, drug and liquor :D stores for your cruise supplies.

Taxi to POM will run about $30+tip for the cab -- they can usually arrange for a commercial shuttle to pick you up and take you to the port for about $12 each. The ride to the port takes 15-20 minutes.

If you are talking about La Quinta East it is okay if you just want a budget room and a free shuttle to POM. No dining or shopping nearby - unless you want delivery pizza or dinner in the Embassy Suites (which will likely cost you more than your LQ room :o).

Yup-East is the one I'm looking at.Flight doesn't get into MIA until about 9 p m so no frills is fine. Just need a place to sleep-breakfast & transportation doesn't hurt. Price is good too - with taxes about $120

Thanks for your reply [emoji41]
