Transportation from MLB to Cocoa Beach Hotels and Port Canaveral

My husband and I are cruising in January of 2019. The flights to MLB are cheaper and shorter than MCO but I am having trouble figuring out transportation from the airport to the hotel then from the port back to MLB. Not so much worried about getting from the hotel to the port. Any suggestions out there or is it just better to fly into MCO?

Uber, Lyft, Cocoa beach Shuttle, one way car rental, Melbourne airport express and several others!

Just take an Uber/Lyft.

It is very surprising that flights to MLB are cheaper. That is almost never the case.

Thanks for the info and I was just as surprised. It's over $100 cheaper per person and the times of the flights are better. This will be my first time thru MLB so it's all new territory.
