happy cruzin Posted October 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2010 Call Carnival and ask for the wedding planning department. They have a group - in Miami I think - that works with the brides to make the plans. Then the plans are executed on board the individual ship. Frequent Floater Posted October 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2010 I helped a friend get married on the Spirit in San Diego. I will say that the company CCL uses here is the best. It was a beautiful ceremony, super great food and cake. Well worth the money as a land based wedding would be much more. You can get all the options on the CCL site at bottom of page under weddings I will say that if you end up doing this option and get a coordinator you are not bonding with, ask for another one! Now they want to renew vows while on our next sailing, anyone have experience with CCLs handling of this option?

DisheartenedBride Posted November 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 2, 2010 We had a horrid experience with our ship wedding. Unfortunately The Wedding Experience, who is contracted out by Carnival, has blamed us for everything, even though they were late. We were married in a bar despite our request of 'no bars'. The professional photographer took horrid horrid pictures - there is not a single picture that is that 'perfect' wedding portrait. Save your money and opt for a wedding anywhere else, then go on a cruise. Given the opportunity I wouldn't trust this company with such an important occassion again.
