Hi....just wondering why there are fixed beds on Plaza deck on Azura/Ventura....are the beds the "normal" twin bed size as in other cabins....are the cabins narrower so can't accommodate beds in Queen style or is it because of a completely different reason?

I think you usually find cabins on the lower decks sleep up to 4 people with a lot having additional pullman beds so fixed beds are a must, apart from that I don't see any other reason, just that it is what P&O want.
I assume all standard 3ft single beds are the same size throughout the ship.

We've had a double inside on P deck, deck 5 on Ventura, and it was just the usual two twin beds made up as a double. The cabin was smaller than others we've had on that ship, but the beds were the normal size. where are these fixed beds?

Hi....the fixed beds are more towards the front on deck 5....think they are marked with a dot icon. The beds cannot be made up as a double configuration.

Ah, perhaps it's as the ship narrows towards the front? Sorry, I don't know about that... have you googled the deck plans?
