Dawn Obstructed OV cat. G window or porthole?

Has anyone stayed in Cat. G Obstructed Ocean View on the Dawn? I am staying in Rm. 8586 and want to know if its a porthole or large window? I really don't want a porthole and will upgrade to a regular OV or down grade to an Inside if this is the case.

I was on the Gem in a Cat. G last year and had a huge window so assumed the Dawn would have a window also, but on looking on NCL at the Dawn it says "porthole or window" for Cat. G. Thanks, Kittykat

Not really a porthole... Not really a true window....

I would upgrade to a regular picture window (if at all possible). Category G really only gives you some natural light, not much more. Only positive compared to most of the oceanviews is being on a higher deck.

..true but the G's are nicely located mid decks..I always thought them a good alternative given that convenience.
