Portofino from Genoa - any tour company recommendations?

We are going to Portofino ourselves prior to boarding the ship at Genoa. My research tells me it can be very easily done DIY by train and boat. 8 -5 should be plenty of time. We are staying in Rapallo for 2 nights visiting the villages on both sides. Have a friend who has been there several times so shes given me her words of wisdom.

Take the train to Santa Margherita and then you have a choice of bus/ferry.

 

Very easy diy.

Thank you. I have read about DIY ing this trip - it just seems quite a distance from Genoa but I will check the timings of everything again.
