RESTRICTED Business class

What does restricted business class mean on my invoice??

HJ

In general, it means it is a flight selected by Regent's air department. You do not have full access and control of the booking. By using an "air deviation" for a fee, you can request flights that appeal to you, on carriers that you prefer.

See the FAQ section on their website.

That's good to know...I thought it meant you were duct-taped into your seat for the duration of the flight.

Seriously, Regent Air has always done okay by us and they've been accommodating for the most part, and we even got a First-Class upgrade on the domestic leg of our last flight. Nice way to start the vacation. :D

...that it's a reduced-price and generally nonrefundable business class fare vs fully-refundable and/or fully changeable.

Also, only the "over water" portion of a BC flight is assured to be in BC. Domestic connecting flights may be Economy. Be sure to ask.

What if one lives on the west coast where flights to Europe (for example) are always the polar route? I can't imagine ever flying to the east coast and then transferring to another plane to fly over the pond.

What routes have west coast people received from Regent?
