Last night is overnight in Honolulu on Carnival Cruise

okay we’re doing Vancouver to Hawaii in September on the Carnival Lengend. My question is about disembarking the ship. We are docked in Honolulu overnight and then we disembark in the morning. Can we leave the ship anytime we want in the morning or do they go through the normal disembarking process as if we just pulled into dock that morning? We have a flight to catch to Maui that morning and would like to get to the airport ASAP.

You can leave anytime after the ship is docked on the first day. You aren't required to stay until the second day.

On overnight stops you can come and go as you please. As long as you are doing self assist you can walk off early. I don’t think you’ll have to do anything customs wise since that won’t be your first stop in the US.

Sweet, sounds like we'll be traveling on the same ship. Just wondering if anyone can tell me how long it usually takes to get off the ship when it docks in Honolulu that first day. Should I expect delays?

There could always be the possibility of a delay, but I doubt there will be. What is the rush?

Picking up a rental car and deciding if I should prebook an uber to get to the rental place (near the airport) and if so, what time I should book it for.

What time are you scheduled to arrive? Plan on being off the ship 30 minutes after that.

No need to pre book the Uber. When you are on land, make your contact with Uber.
