John's Ocean View Bar & Rerstaurant ???

My wife is not a familiar traveler but i would like to go to a beach bar with her where the locals go. Is this the place to relax with your wife on the beach or is it gonna be too rough a place for her?

Never been there, only drove past it. We typically go to Jack's.

Absolutely, give John a go. Great food, best in town, especially since the Sandbar burned down. Good service loungers, nice beach. Not as pricey as Jacks and way less crowded.

I just seen your post and I was wondering if you have already cruised and decided to go here? If so, could you provide feedback. If not, we are planning on going there while in port 11/12 and will let you know what we discover upon our return.

Please do let us know if John's Ocean View Bar and Edith's Fish Fry is open for business. I understand that they lost everything due to hurricane IRMA. Many thanks for any information on their current situation. We've visited them each time we've been to Grand Turk and enjoyed it each time. Wonderful business and delicious food.

Johns Ocean View is open. We didn’t eat there but saw it. I didn’t see Edith’s so I can’t answer for that.
