Palma to Colonia Sant Jordi / Cabrera

hi all....hopefully someone has done this or a Mallorcan local can advise.

We will be in port from 8am to 4pm.

Is it feasible to do this? We are interested in going to Cabrera and seeing the blue grotto cave.

Any advice, tour suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated.TIA

Not Possible in the time you have I don't Think , But here are the logistics : You would need to Hire car to get to Cala St Jordi to start with by 9.30 am then 1 hr drive to CSJ then the boat trip it is a 6 hr day out from Cala St Jordi !!!

Cab/car hire is about 1 hr, bus 502 -1.5hrs (plus need time to get to bus station). Boat trip - 3 hr min

I had seen that they use speed boats. Is that not the case anymore?

There is a "fast" 3h tour but it's not suitable unless you can make 9:15 am departure. Next one is 12:15 which is late for getting back to ship.
