RocCruisers Posted November 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Are there any good airplane tours in the CA/NE ports? When in Alaska, the tour in Juneau was fantastic. Would love to experience that again!
SailBadtheSinner Posted November 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2017 (edited) There are 2 tour companies that offer air tours in Bar Harbor, ME: Acadia Air Tours & Scenic Flights of Acadia. I was unable to find any recent reviews of either here on CC, but both have Excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. Acadia Air Tours Scenic Flights of Acadia What are your ports of call? Aussie Belle Posted November 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2017 Did Arcadia Air Tours flight out of Bar Harbor a few years ago. One of the highlights of our cruise. Their office is right at the cruise terminal and they drive you to and from the airport. The planes are all replica bi-planes with open cock pits. It was amazing flying over Arcadia National Park in an open cock pit. We had a great day in Bar Harbor. Did the National Park bus tour through the park in the morning and the flight in the afternoon. Saw the park from all angles. Book direct with the owner, he will look after you.

Would it be safe/appropriate for a 9 yr old? How long was your flight? Is a half hour enough, or would it be better to go for a whole hour?
