Are the beverage packages discounted when you board the ship? Right now the all inclusive is $57 per day. Is it best to buy now or wait?

No discount. We buy in advance as then it is ready to go as soon as we board.

No, and the AIBP is not proratable either.

The main difference is if you have a lot of OBC to use up you can use it to purchase the package onboard. If you purchase in advance you can't use OBC to pay for it. There will be plenty of places available onboard to buy the package after embarking.
