when are you assigned a boarding time?

Cruising with Princess for the first time in 2 weeks, when are you notified of your boarding time? T-24 hours? We are in a full suite so I'm assuming we will be first up.

Yup, suites first. You'll also be in a special waiting area if you get there before boarding starts...refreshments, etc.

When you print your boarding pass it will say Priority Boarding across the top.

In your booking summary there is likely a section with suggested times for boarding by deck. You will very likely also receive an e-mail with a boarding-by-deck schedule.

That staggered boarding regime have never been anything but a suggestion. Princess does not assign nor do they offer specific boarding times that some other lines (Carnival, Disney) do. And as you will have Priority Boarding you can show up as early as you wish--and if you share with us at what port you are embarking we can share with you if there is a separate entrance or any other specifics for those with Priority Boarding at said port.
