Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted October 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2017 Good news for Azamara in the new 2018 edition of the Berlitz Cruising & Cruise Ships guide. While many ships across many cruise lines lost points and stars, Journey and Quest both moved up from 4 stars to 4+ and overall points from 1530/1529 to 1551/1551. [significantly better than the Oceania R-ships, still at 4 stars and points ranging from 1419 to 1482. Even Regent, whose fans claim neither A nor O is a 'luxury' line, only got 4+ stars for 2 of its ships, with 4 and 3.5  for the other two.] BUT, Berlitz continues to show the two Azamara ships as ranging from 676 passengers on Journey to 716 on Quest, and crew from 407 on Journey to 306 on Quest. Pretty amazing for ships with identical deck plans and service ratings! I wrote Berlitz last year to comment on this discrepancy, but no change in the new edition. Maybe Azamara management can get their attention [this hurts Berlitz's credibility more than Azamara, especially with the star and point increases].
