Can you recommend a road trip around the island?

We are renting a jeep the day we are in port. We are there 12:15-8:00pm. According to Cruise TT we are the only ship (Anthem) in Phillipsburg that day. We rented from Hertz, right near cruise port. I definitely want to spend an hour or 2 at mullet bay. We will probably also want to browse around front street for an hour. Maybe visit french side as well. We aren't big into shopping. Can anyone recommend a scenic route we should take? Do we have enough time? How is traffic in teh evening returning to port?

I should add, it's Monday July 30th.
