San Pedro to LAX - Transfer or Taxi?

Yesterday Princess transfers were $39 each.

 

The Princess disembarkation paperwork had said a taxi would be approximately $70. Yesterday we had no traffic backups to keep the meter ticking away so ours was only $60.

That was when we were on the Island last week. Now this week we're on the Emerald and the Princess transfers are $34 and their disembarkation paperwork says a taxi will be approx $60-$65. Go figure.
