Disembarking Breakaway

Wondering what is the latest we can disembark an 8:00 arrival. We have no plans to be paged to get off the ship but our flight is mid afternoon so no need to rush off with those who have a tight deadline. At 10:00 would seem leisurely for us, so will lines be gone by that time and we can head out?

From looking at your posting history, I believe you are talking about the Baltics, which will slightly affect the answer compared to being in the US.

On European cruises there is no immigration checks on disembarkation, so people just walk off, collect their bags if necessary and then walk away.

That means that you don’t get the queues which can be a feature of disembarking in US ports. There may still be a delay at the gangplank, but never usually too bad, just a few minutes if you are unlucky.

Staying onboard until 10 can be a struggle due to there being nothing particularly to do, and the constant messages to leave can get annoying. We often settle down in a bar to read but by about 9.30 we are usually done. Whatever, if you leave at that time then you will just walk off.
