Bar credit and entertainment questions....

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't see it anywhere.

I haven't cruised in a few years so I have some weird questions.

1) Is there somewhere you find out ahead of time what the entertainment on your sailing is, or do you just find out on the ship?

2) I'm not getting the drink package as I don't drink much, but want to pre-purchase the bar credits so I don't have to pay onboard. Do those cover gratuities as well or will I see the 15% on my tab?

3) In cabin liquor - it says you cannot bring out of your cabin, but what is stopping me from mixing a drink in a cup and going to the pool?

2-bar credits don’t cover 15% gratuity. Reminder that these are non refundable. I’d suggest buying cruise cash instead because it can be used on anything

3-nothing is stopping you. They’d never know. You just can’t tak the whole bottle to the pool

#2 better yet - get a rewards card and use it for all your purchases. Put your cruise savings aside at home and pay off the card when you get back!

What is a rewards card?

I'm guessing it means a credit card that offers rewards (% cash back). You would keep back the anticipated costs in your home checking or savings account, then pay off the credit card when you return to avoid interest charges.

Makes sense to me!
