In perusing the videos' pages I came across your very interesting "Chef's dinner" on the Emerald Princess. My wife and I will be cruising on the Star Princess (our very first Princess cruise after 6 with another line) and my question is how did you go about getting on the chef's table group?

Do you have to pre book, and what was the cost?

The Star cruise we are going on is from FT Lauderdale to Copenhagen on April 24th, can't wait!

Thank you for your video and for reading this.

to my former Vancouverite, (but I only arrived in the early 80s)

Kiva is right the cost is $75 per person. When you board on the first day call dining room reservations and ask to be put on the list for the Chef's Table (note Chef's dinner is a dining room menu theme one night).

the Chef's table is on the Star and is usually offerred a couple times a cruise but it does fill up quickly.

In order to not be disappointed make sure you call the first day. It is a great experience and we have done it three times now.

Note you need to wear closed toed shoes, ie no sandals, because of health and safety issues in the kitchen.
