trying to figure out transportation from GCT to Bayonne,NJ ...yes i know about taxi's but wondering about car service and prices???

Just a suggestion, I don't know if it will save you much money or if it would be worth the hassle. But you can go from GCT to NY Penn, and take it to secaucus junction, and take a cab from there.

It probably isn't worth the time though.

We've used them twice between Bayonne and Penn/Manhattan and will again in Nov. Great service, professional and on time. This will probably get moved to the East Coast Departures board. There is lots of info there, including a couple of long threads all about Bayonne/Cape Liberty.

depending on where u r from, can you get on board to amtrak? it can take you to penn station newark.

BUT you're coming from Rhode Island...how are you getting to Grand Central?

If you're taking Amtrak you're NOT going there, you are going to NYPenn..in which case, take the train into New Jersey...either Secaucus Junction or NEWARK Penn..then grab a cab......

Could be taking Shoreline East from New London, CT to New Haven and then Metro North from there to GCT...probably cheaper than taking Amtrak from Providence.... :D

ok..thanks....i'm only familiar with Amtrak, NJTransit and septa..not so much the ones up north....:p
