Busses Running on Christmas Day?

We will be in St Martin this year on Christmas Day. Our plan is to go to Mullet Bay then to Maho Beach, and I am wondering if taking the bus is an option, or do they not run on Christmas Day and should we plan on taking a taxi? There are six of us, so the bus is preferred.

The taxi's in St. Maarten are vans so 6 people can easily go in one taxi.

Thanks Karysa. Getting everyone in the taxi is not my main concern. The round trip cost of a taxi for 6 to Mullet Bay is $108. (plus tip) The round trip cost of a bus for 6 to Mullet bay is $24 (no tip). Since I am paying, I prefer the bus IF they are operating on Christmas Day. We will take a taxi if we have to, but it is not my first choice.
