Good place to stay close to the Beach in FLL

We are a party of 20 flying in teh day before for our Cruise next year and plan to stay in Fort Lauderdale and would like to stay close to the Beach but also be reasonable priced. Any suggestions?

The 2 hotels with the lowest prices right across the street from the beach close to the port are Bahia Mar and Courtyard Marriott. You might also check the rates at the Ocean Manor resort (hotel and condo rentals) which is on the beach but is about 5 miles further north than these hotels. None of these hotels provide shuttles. As an alternative, some cruisers stay on the beach in Hollywood, but I don't know about the hotels there. There is a Marriott that is popular.
