Next cruise booking question

We're fresh back from our Getaway cruise and chomping at the bit to book our next one, but i remember reading a thread over the last couple of months stating that the best deals are when you book right after the final payment is due, or at least better cabins may be available. Does anyone remember that thread and could forward me the link? I would like to reread.

There are lots of threads where folks indicated the pricing dropped right after final payment was due.

Not sure about the Getaway or certain dates for sure, but.... if the ship is selling well, the rates may even go up, or selection is less.

You can never be sure. We prefer to book further in advance. NCL has always worked with us when there are post-final payment price drops. You won't get a refund but you may find you will get a cabin upgrade or some OBC based on the new pricing.
