RambleRocket Posted August 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2018 Hello All, I’m hoping you can help me. My family will arrive in Havana at the end of the month on Carnival. We are all Canadian citizens travelling on Canadian passports. Do we require a VISA. Canadians do not need a VISA to visit Cuba, but the cruise line said this is mandatory. Does anyone know for sure. I called the cruise line several times and they don’t really seem to know. Thanks!
kristinp36 Posted August 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2018 If you arrive via cruise ship that departs from the US they are treating all passengers the same. You must get a VISA. I’ve read the same so far with all major cruise lines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
soccersharon Posted August 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2018 I am Canadian, and it's my understanding that yes, we'll have to purchase a Visa from the ship. We're on the Paradise August 18th! Can't wait! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
rederob Posted August 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2018 Canada is not one of the 20 countries are visa-free to Cuba: https://everipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Cuba/ Carnival's information on visas is here: https://www.carnival.com/~/media/CCLUS/PDFs/OnlineCheckIn/Cuba_Checklist%20F%20pdf.ashx
