El Canario By The Sea...San Juan

Hi all,

Posted this on the Hotel Board too...but thought I try here also.....

Anyone have any feedback on this hotel? Since I only need a place to sleep pre-cruise (my flight doesn't get into SJU until about 10:30 p.m.) and don't want to spend mega-dollars, I'm thinking about booking a room here (as a back-up in case I can't get anything on Priceline). Actually, I'm hoping to get *bumped* in PHL and not really need a room in San Juan...but need to have something "just in case". :eek:

We've stayed there twice, though it has now been several years since the last visit.

A basic clean room, and included a breakfast of rolls and fruit when we were there.

Nearly on the beach, and close to food and shopping.

We will stay there again.

Thank you for your reply. It sounds like it will be just what I need. Since I won't be getting there until about 11 p.m. and leaving mid-morning, all I need is a safe, clean place to stay the night-no frills and don't have to worry about beach, etc. :)
