sailaway music

I am trying to remember the name of the CD (artist and cd title) for the Viking music played at sailaway for all of the WindStar ships. anyone remember? Thanks in advance for the help!

That captivating music you hear on sailaway is the sound track from the movie "1492 - Conquest of Paradise" and the artist is Vangellis. You can order it from Amazon.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I bought a copy of it several years ago when we were on the Wind Spirit. somehow, I have misplaced it. We have just returned from a New Year's Cruise on WindSurf and met frineds that I promised to make a copy for...duh...couldnt find mine or remember...It is powerful music...even when you are at home remembering your trip. Thanks again!

We bought the album after our Windstar cruise. I put it on my iPod. We were recently on a Lake Tahoe Paddleboat "cruise." As we were about to pull away from the dock my S.O. (who I thought was not into cruising) asked to hear Conquest of Paradise, so we each listened through one ear and transported ourselves back to the Wind Star.
