My husband and I are going on RSS which ports in Marseille.

Which tour is better to see when in Marseille:

cassis

aix en provence

castellet

We like lovely and charming areas with shopping and good food.

Thanks for any help in going over the differences of those 3 tours

Have done them all though not with ships tours.

All the towns are beautiful with Castellet the most charming and least touristy by far.:)

of Avignon and Les Baux. the Popes' Palace is amazing but the tour is not all history... although that too is fascinating. Avignon is all that is pleasant and charming complete with an Hermes boutique to browse after taking lunch at an outdoor table on the tree-lined boulevard. at Les Baux, there is again the blend of deep history combined with nice non-trinkety shopping and small cafes.

you didn't ask but those are two places we would return for another visit and it's been less than a year.
