Anyone stay at the HILTON in Long Beach, CA?

:) Hi, going on the Summit In October with a friend from these boards!

We are staying at the Hilton, Long Beach.

Sailing out of LA.

Can I get any input about the hotel? Heard nice things about the area:D

My wife and i stayed there last Sept the hotel is great. I little walk to the restaurants for dinner. A little tip when you first check in ask the bellman to give you a ride over to the port it about 5 mIns away. Explain to them i rather give you the money than using a taxi.

We stayed there last month. It was very nice.

There are pictures of our room, and our "patio" which was not a normal sized patio. :) Here are the webshots album, and the hotel room is in the first one called 40th Anniversary - Island Princess, that doesn't have an album number. The next is 2 then 3 etc. (DUH!!! :)

That balcony WAS huge..............that's what made me get my camera out. The building is stepped out at the top, and that was one of the steps. I "begged" for a room with a harbor view............telling the check in guy that we desert dwellers NEED water!!! :) You'll have to think up your own story, living in JAX (where our daughter & family live) but the hotel was nice, and the breakfast buffet was good. I have other pictures if you want them, but you do get the general idea from those two.
