Hi all,

Thinking about getaway mini suite for our next cruise, but after having seen deck plans and read reviews I keep seeing people say we should stay away from being too near the waterfront because of noise/smoke.... But most if the mini suites seem to be mind ship right over the water front?......... We really want a noise free nights sleep and to sit out on our balcony not getting other peoples smoke wafting up! Would a cabin on deck 13 or above be ok? Thanks

Just left the ship today. Stayed on 13 port side mid, no problem with smoke coming up. Just keep in mind your fellow neighbors could be chain smokers. For the first time in 7 cruises we had chain smokers on either side.

Don't forget about the M6's on deck 8 forward?

They have huge balconies too. :D

Nothing wrong with the mini's on 13, except the tiny balconies.

We had an M6 Mini Suite with Large Balcony 8728 and loved the location. These M6 mini suites are only on deck 8 forward. The cabin is a tiny bit bigger and the bath has double sinks and a large shower with 6 heads plus rain shower. There are double doors out to the Waterfront area right at the end of your hall just prior to the elevator banks. Nice chairs there, if you are waiting for others. Not a far walk to the mid ships area where all the action is.

If you look at the deck plan you will see that these minis are a fair distance from the bars along the Waterfront. We heard no noise from our cabin or even the balcony, which is very deep. No problem with too much movement. The cabins which overhang the walkway of the Waterfront I believe might be balcony cabins on deck 9. We never found the Waterfront to be very busy and we loved it out there.
