Verizon Cell Coverage Juneau, Icy Straight and Ketchikan

How is the Verizon service in these ports? Interested in calling, texting and data usage information.

In Juneau and Ketchikan it is typical domestic coverage, sometimes it is better than others, but that is just like it is in the lower 48. I haven't stopped in ISP so I can't comment about the service there, but Verizon does have excellent coverage.

We had Verizon in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan last year and we never had any issues with coverage!! Always good.

Verizon works there - surprisingly good. I think they use a shared tower. It's better than AT&T for sure :mad:

We had Verizon in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan last year and we never had any issues with coverage!! Always good.

I was researching this, this morning, before checking Cruise Critic (foolish, I know, but still) and this is what Verizon's website shows vis a vis coverage in Ketchikan. Either there is a bug on their website, or there is some deliberate intention to preclude coverage near the cruise port.
