luvscruzin Posted May 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Ten years ago when we were in Cayman, we booked a snorkeling excursion through the ship. It was our first snorkeling experience, and best so far (we've also snorkeled in the Eastern in various ports). Cheeseburger Reef sounds familiar, but on that excursion, we were taken to the snorkeling area by boat, and it appears from what I've read that CR is near shore, so I'm not really sure if that's where we snorkeled or not. We'd like to snorkel without a tour group this time, so is Cheeseburger Reef worth a try? Or are there recommendations for any other "on your own" snorkeling adventures in Cayman? 7/10 Carnival Triumph Carnival Holiday 6/94 Carnival Paradise 7/99 Celebrity Century 7/

You'll find snorkel/dive gear as well as lockers for rent. Hope this helps! Happy Sailing! luvscruzin Posted May 9, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Thanks for the information on snorkeling. Sounds like a good plan. We'll have to check it out in July. 7/10 Carnival Triumph Carnival Holiday 6/94 Carnival Paradise 7/99 Celebrity Century 7/
