Anyone booked New Orleans since Katrina?

My daughter is a student at Loyola New Orleans so we are down there quite a bit. We usually stay at the Embassy Suites on Julia. They have the usual evening cocktails and a great breakfast. I know all the hotels in that area at charging a premium. We will be down there for graduation in two weeks and are paying $200/night. They are fairly close to the port, too. Have also stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (I think it is on St. Peters).

There are lots of hotels up and running, in the Quarter, because of their high (or at least higher than surrounding areas) elevation. The Hilton Riverwalk is right where the ships used to dock (and I am assuming still will).
