Happened last night, ship was drifting. No injuries, no significant damage to ship and it's headed back to King George Island.

I heard about this on the news, so thank you for the link. Doesn't the Fram have an ice hardened hull for Arctic and Antarctic cruising? I chose another ship for Antartica but interested in the Fram for other itinerarys.

Just saw in the news section of Cruisecritic, that the next cruise on Fram is cancelled. I really feel sorry for the next group. A lot of planning goes into these trips and to find out afew day ahead you aren't able to go has got to be a hear breaker.
