gehrandt Posted February 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I read someplace where they had afternoon tea - and then someplace else where they thought it had been discontinued. Any recent sailings where they had it? We love Afternoon Tea.
Jim Avery Posted February 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I dont recall any formal tea service in October or December. Nothing like you would get on Cunard. Tea is available any time you wish and I am sure they would make you sandwiches or pastry plates to suit. No way to ever go hungry on these ships. Jim. JustAud Posted September 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2008 There is no afternoon tea, we stumbled upon afternoon snacks/tea set up in a seldom used section of the ship and that's how we found "afternoon tea." It sits out for awhile and gets flies. But, had we known we could just sit on our chairs and have a waiter have someone make us up a plate anytime we wanted . . . well, might have once in awhile, but just isn't in our nature. Love afternoon tea, too, and was sad not to have it on the SD. On Regent's Paul Gaugain it was informal and still nice.
