Best pharmacy, best prices?

Seems to be two main ones: one in the plaza near the docks and

one out on 30th.

Anyone shopped at these?

We went to a place just off the main street/downtown docks. It was called the American Pharmacy. We didn't do the one at the international dock (furthest from town). Wish I could remember the street name....but it was a simple walk and we could see the sign hung on the right side of the street from the main drag. It's a little place, but had stuff we needed and MUCH less than stateside.

I've never visited a pharmacy in Cozumel. But, my TA always stocks up on his med's when he's in Cozumel. He goes to American Discount Drugstore. The owner is a woman named Monica.

The American Discount Drugstore and the American Pharmacy are the same place. They are located on Calle 3 just a half block from the waterfront.

There are many, many pharmacies here in Cozumel!

I've heard about all the bargains in jewelry when cruising, but patent medicines???? Tell me more please.

Some drugs are less expensive in Cozumel, some are not. Any prescription medication that is NOT a controlled substance can be purchased over the counter. It's best if you make a list of meds you take and what you pay for them before you arrive, so that you know if it is less or not. Prescription cards are not accepted here.
