Store luggage pre-cruise in Civitavecchia?

We will be touring Italy for a couple of weeks before our TA on 23 Oct 2010. Is there anywhere in Civitavecchia we could store our cruise luggage while we tour? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

I don't know of any place - I don't remember seeing anything at the train station.

 

Based on your question, it seems you would go first to Civitavecchia to drop your luggage and then spend a couple of weeks touring Italy prior to your cruise, correct? If so, you might consider spending the first night in Italy or the last night before your cruise at a hotel in Civitavecchia. As a customer, you can then ask the hotel to store your luggage.

 

I think this idea works best if you stay there the first night, but might also work if you stay only the night before your cruise. In either case you have to go to Civitavecchia twice, once to drop off the luggage and again to pick it up.

Euro_Cruiser gives some good advice. If you stay at a hotel they will more than likely store your bags for a period of time. We've found this to be true in 100% of the times.

You're right. I think using the hotel where we will be staying is the best place to store our excess baggage. Thanks.
