yogi2929 Posted September 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2009 I wasn't cold on either the Splendor or the Paradise. Bring a sweater just in case.
Rosefloater Posted September 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2009 I just came off the Splendor & Froze!! So how many sweaters should I expect to pack for my 4-Day Paradise Cruise in Oct???? I'm glad that other people are saying that the Splendor is cold. I usually complain that it is warm on the ships, and I was cold on the Splendor, especially in the buffet. Maybe that's why I ended up with pneomonia:eek: The Paradise has a better temperature control, but you might want to take a light jacket for the showroom. pulledporky Posted September 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Just got off the Paradise a few hours ago. Our room was probably 65 deg when we first entered. There were three a/c vents, I shut them all off completely and it took the full 4 days to get in the mid 70's. I thought rest of the ship was comfortable. There were several areas "under construction" which was very inconveniant. Sure miss the Pride. But 8 weeks until a week on the Splendor.
luvvp Posted September 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Thanks for the info on the Splendor. I would much rather it be cold than hot. I can always wear a few more clothes but only can take so much off!
